AVHCC Gives Back

At Albemarle Veterinary Health Care Center there are many ways to care for animals. We feel that it is in our power to give back to the community of Charlottesville, Virginia and all of the animals in need. We are very proud of all the animals we have affected through giving back.

Recently we concluded our $4 nail trim deal. For the month of October we raised $404 for The Wildlife Center of Virginia and all the wildlife affected by the BP oil spill. We got such a great response from this that we decided to extend the $4 nail trim through the end of the year with the money going to our Furry Friend Fund. Look for us to bring back this promotion next year to go to a deserving charity.

We are a Piedmont Pet Pantry drop off site. We accept food, supplies and treats for cats and dogs as well as monetary donations. The Piedmont Pet Pantry is a project of the Extra Mile Dog Rescue for more information on The Piedmont Pet Pantry please visit their website at www.extramiledogrescue.com

Many of our employee's volunteer their time and services to help animals in need. Megan takes all of our extra food to local animal shelters in the area. Cindy volunteers her time and expertise at The Wildlife Center of Virginia.
