Cherish Stutesman-Veterinary Assistant

Cherish is originally from Hickory, North Carolina, where her father is a veterinarian and sparked her love for the veterinary field five years ago.  She is currently enrolled in a veterinary technology program to receive her technician license.

She has a Chihuahua named Parker and 3 cats, Kitty Kitty, Sammie and Mia.  In her spare time she likes to shop, go dancing, and enjoys reading James Patterson books.


Megan Dabney-Veterinary Assistant

Megan has been with the AVHCC team since June 2007.  She started out as part-time helping out in the kennels and helped where needed throughout the hospital while she was in High School.  After graduation in 2008, she joined us on a more regular basis.  Megan will be starting classes in the fall of 2008 at Piedmont Valley Community College.  Her plans are to go on to Blue Ridge Community College to get her license and become a licensed veterinary technician, starting next fall. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and friends.  She has a doberman cross named Chrissy, a rabbit named Thumber and a beta fish.
 

  
Mary Ashley Laine-Veterinary Assistant 

Mary Ashley graduated from UVA in May 2008 with a major in Enviromental Science and Music.  She specialized in Conservation Biology and plans to attend veterinary school and pursue a specialty in Wildlife Medicine.  She joined our team in June of 2008 and continues to take classes in the evenings.

In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music, painting and volunteers at the Wildlife Center in Waynesboro.  Her pets include 2 cats and 2 hamsters.
